1. About these terms
These terms apply when you book or receive appliance repair services fromAppliance EMT LLC ("Appliance EMT", "we", "us"), and when you use this website. By booking an appointment you agree to them.
Appliance EMT LLC is registered in Georgia and in every state where we provide service. Our address is 3280 McEver Rd, Unit 109, Buford, GA 30518.
2. What we service
We repair major residential and commercial appliances, including refrigerators, freezers, built-in refrigeration, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges and cooktops, built-in microwaves, and garbage disposals. We also install appliances.
We do not service:
- Countertop and over-the-counter microwaves. Built-in microwaves we do service.
- Small appliances: blenders, coffee machines, smoothie makers, vacuum cleaners and similar.
If you are unsure whether your appliance qualifies, call us before booking and we will tell you honestly.
3. Appointments and availability
You can reach us 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call at any hour and a person will help you book, reschedule or ask about a repair in progress.
Reaching us at any hour is not the same as a technician arriving at any hour. Yourarrival window is agreed when the appointment is booked, and that agreed window is the commitment. Same-day service is often available, but depends on the day's schedule and your location. We will tell you what is realistic when you call rather than promise something we cannot do.
Appointment windows are estimates. Traffic, parts availability and the job before yours can move things. We will keep you informed if your window changes.
Access and safety
To carry out the repair, we need you to:
- Have an adult aged 18 or over present for the appointment
- Provide safe, clear access to the appliance
- Secure pets
- Tell us in advance about anything that affects safe working conditions
Our technician may decline or stop work where conditions are unsafe, where the installation does not meet code, or where proceeding risks damage to property.
4. Trip charge, diagnosis and pricing
The trip charge is $117 for residential service and $197 for commercial service. It covers the visit and diagnosis of the fault.
If you approve the repair, the trip charge is waived. You pay only the quoted repair price.
Your technician diagnoses the appliance and then quotes a flat rate for the repair before any work begins. You decide whether to proceed. If you choose not to go ahead, the trip charge applies for the visit and diagnosis, and nothing further is owed.
Quoted prices cover the fault diagnosed on that visit. If a further, separate fault is found once work is underway, we will stop, explain it, and quote it separately before continuing. Special-order parts may require a deposit, and we will tell you before taking one.
5. Our guarantee
Completed repairs are guaranteed for 90 days on parts and labor, unless otherwise specified by the technician.
If the fault we repaired returns within the guarantee period, contact us and we will return to address it at no further charge for that repair. Where a technician specifies different terms for a particular repair or part: for example on a customer-supplied part or an end-of-life appliance. Those terms apply instead, and will be stated at the time.
The guarantee does not cover:
- A different fault, or a new fault in another component
- Damage from misuse, accident, power surge, pests, flooding or improper installation
- Parts supplied by the customer
- Work performed on the appliance by anyone else after our visit
- Normal wear, cosmetic damage, or an appliance that has reached the end of its life
Manufacturer warranties on new parts are passed through to you where the manufacturer provides one.
6. Cancellations and rescheduling
There is no cancellation fee. If you can let us know at least 24 hours in advance, we would really appreciate it. It lets us offer the slot to another customer who needs it.
If nobody is present when the technician arrives, or we cannot access the appliance, the trip charge may apply for the visit.
7. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods offered at the time of service. Where a deposit was taken for a special-order part, it is applied to the final invoice.
8. Repair versus replacement
Not every appliance is worth repairing. Where we believe replacement is the better value, we will say so plainly, even though it means we do not get the repair. The decision is always yours.
9. Limitation of liability
We carry insurance and we take care in your home. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any repair is limited to the amount you paid us for that repair.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss: including loss of food due to refrigeration failure, loss of income, or loss of use: except where such exclusion is not permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, for damage caused by an appliance's age or condition where we warned you of the risk before proceeding, or for faults in installations carried out by others.
10. Website content

12. Governing law
