This policy explains what we do with personal information collected through this website, by phone, and in the course of providing appliance repair services.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you book a repair, request service or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- The service address where the appliance is located
- Details about the appliance: type, brand, model and the problem you are having
- Appointment preferences and any access notes you give us
- Payment information, processed by our payment providers (we do not store card numbers)
- Anything else you choose to tell us in a message, chat or phone call
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site we and our providers automatically collect technical information including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and how you interact with the page. See Cookies, analytics and session recordingbelow, which explains this in specific detail.
Information from others
If you reach us through an advertising or lead platform, a review site, or a referral, that provider may pass us your contact details and the request you submitted to them.
How we use it
- To schedule, perform and follow up on appliance repair work
- To contact you about your appointment, including by text message
- To take payment and issue receipts
- To honour warranty claims and look up the history of a previous repair
- To answer questions and handle complaints
- To improve this website and understand which pages and adverts are useful

Text messages
We text customers appointment confirmations and status updates: for example, confirming a booking or letting you know a technician is on the way.
We send these messages only to customers who have given us their mobile number and agreed to receive them. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies depending on your appointment.
To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message. For help, replyHELP or contact us atsupport@911emt.com. Opting out of texts does not remove you as a customer. We will simply contact you by phone or email instead.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies, analytics and session recording

Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Our technicians and office staff, so the right person turns up with the right parts
- Service providers who work on our behalf: scheduling and CRM software, the chat provider named above, payment processors, email and text messaging providers, and analytics and advertising providers
- Parts suppliers and manufacturers, where a warranty claim or a part order requires it
- Professional advisers, insurers and authorities, where we are legally required to, or to establish or defend a legal claim
How long we keep it
We keep customer and repair records for as long as needed to service the warranty on your repair, handle any dispute, and meet our tax, accounting and legal obligations. Website analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the providers listed above. When we no longer need information, we delete it or render it anonymous.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Texts: reply STOP to any message to opt out
- Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
- Cookies and tracking: use your browser controls and the opt-out links above
- Access, correction and deletion: emailsupport@911emt.com and we will respond
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law: including the right to know what personal information we hold, to request deletion or correction, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we use the advertising tools listed above, such sharing may occur. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@911emt.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children
This site is intended for adults arranging appliance repair. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Photography in customer homes
We sometimes photograph completed work for training and marketing. We do not publish images that identify a customer, their household, or their address without permission, and we remove location metadata from photographs before publishing them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
